Meet Cutter
As we all know, Cutter lived for baseball. Cutter and his family spent every waking moment at the ball fields. Cutter, unfortunately, lost his precious life on March 8, 2024, on the way to baseball practice.
It is no surprise to any of us, from family, teachers, coaches, teammates, even umpires on the field, all will have the same story to share – Cutter was the one you wanted with you on the field! He brought life to the dugout and energy to the field. If we’ve learned one thing from Cutter, we’ve learned to live each day to the fullest, welcome each day with a smile on our face and determination in our heart to make the day its absolute best!

His Passion Created Our Purpose
This memorial organization was formed to honor Cutter on and off the field and to know his legacy will live forever. We believe that talent and dedication on the field should be met with equal support in the classroom. By providing financially, we aim to support promising young athletes to allow them to focus on both their academic and athletic development. Our commitment is to nurture the next generation of baseball players, helping them achieve their dreams and contribute positively to their communities.
“Joy is defined as a feeling of great pleasure and happiness. Biblically it is the ‘gladness of the heart’. Cutter was my pure joy! We shared life for 17 years. We enjoyed the zoo, fishing, chicken nuggets, the fair, elephant rides at the circus, and making cupcakes. As he grew older, we shared his first airplane flight to Cape Canaveral to watch a rocket launch, we got to go up in a blimp, we watched puppies being born, and dressed as ‘Elf’ for the Christmas parade. And we shared his passion for baseball!
He began as a toddler – with great hand/eye coordination – hitting a wiffle ball hanging from a string in my garage. From there we lived at the ball fields, season after season. I loved watching him both on and off the field, developing into a fine young man that I was so proud of! I love him and miss him every day.”
